This page explains the symbols, sections, and such of the UnOfficial Information Alley! I hope this is the least accessed section.
There are eight major sections to the Info Alley:
Find ItProvides several search facilities to find articles and information. This includes a HotSauce (XSpace) index, a cross-referenceto the Table Of Contents section, a link to the search engine used by that mirror, a site map, and links to the major search engines I have listed us with (Note: Some might not be up-to-date).
The Previous and Next buttons iterate through the support pages.
Table Of ContentsContains listings of the dailies and bi-weeklies in an easy to access and organized format. The format uses tables and other niceties, thus the more "advanced" your browser the more aestetic the page will be.
I've made two major divisions, 1995 and 1996. Within each are the 12 months. I've made no real distinction between dailies and bi-weeklies, although you can tell the difference easily enough.
Additionally, the Previous and Next buttons on the Table Of Contents pages (not the support page, however) iterate through the 1995 and 1996 months (i.e., from January 1995 to December.. er.. November 1996), so you can click through time.
Support PagesThis provides another access point to the sidebar items and others. I've included the (in)famous "Answering the Binhex Questions?" article, the glitz page, note explaining we are, descriptions on what I use to do this stuff, and other items you might find useful.
Feedback & ContactThis provides access to our (in)famous feedback form (noticed, I changed it). Email contact with me and the other admins.

Mirror SitesProvides a list of the sites that mirror the UnOfficial Information Alley Homepage. Included is a geographic image map so you can click and go.
Huh?This page that explains what all is on your screen, what the major sections are, and gives additional assistance so you can use some of the more advanced features of the UnOfficial Information Alley.
What's do those icons mean?
There's a few icons that you need to be aware of. The three most prevelant are the Previous, Top of Page, and Next arrows. Another common icon is the FTP icon, whenever you see that icon you can click on it to go to a page providing information on downloading files, manipulating them, and, generally, getting the stuff mentioned in the UnOfficial Information Alley!
An other icon is the the ListenUp icon. When it appears on a page it indicate that page can listen for commands. Clicking the ListenUp icon sends you to the ListenUp plug-in homepage.
If you see a MacOS icon, then that server is a MacOS based server, generally this only appears in the Mirrors section.
Finally, the small apple that appears at the end of every article is actually linked to Apple's homepage! (nice eh?).
